Dear Friends,The FoCC is holding the April Friends meeting at 7.00 pm next Wednesday 29th AprilThe meeting will be held at the Buninyong Community House, 407 Warrenheip St, BuninyongGuest speakers will be David Bannear and Tiffany Ingles from Goldfields Track talking about “The Goldfields Track and Woowookarung Regional Park”David is Chair and Tiffany is Project Officer of the Goldfields Track Committee, a group that works to promote the use of the Goldfields Track. The Track is 210km from Bendigo to Mount Buninyong and is for both walkers and bike riders. The track started in 1992 and has grown and evolved over the time into Victoria's premier trail. An extension of the track from Ballarat to Buninyong via Woowookarung Regional Park has been talked about ever since the Park was established. General Business The tenth anniversary of the establishment of Woowookarung Regional Park is on August 5th 2026, coinciding with the City of Ballarat Biodiversity week.
